Several Colorado lawmakers, county commissioners, school board directors, and candidates, both current and former, have taken the Moms for Liberty Pledge. The Moms for Liberty Candidate Pledge is a public commitment for political candidates and officials to prioritize parental rights in education and government. Signers pledge to respect parents’ rights to direct their children’s education, medical care, and moral upbringing. The pledge also emphasizes strengthening parental involvement, increasing transparency in schools and government, and defending against government overreach. Current officials and/or candidates who signed the pledge are often required to agree with Moms for Liberty’s statements on issues such as school choice and curriculum transparency. Signing the pledge does not guarantee an endorsement from Moms for Liberty, nor can signers use it as an official campaign endorsement without approval.
Other concerning policies supported by Moms for Liberty include the Federal Tax Scholarship program, school vouchers, classical & christian charter schools, and the America 250 Civics Education Coalition.
